SEMISUD (Seminario Sudamericano), a Church of God South American Ministerial Seminary located in Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, recently launched a doctoral studies program.
The “World Missions Around the World in 30 Days Tour” with Drs. Tim Hill and John D. Childers is usually conducted by internet technology, but on this occasion, leadership was actually in Quito, Ecuador, to meet with Dr. David Ramirez, field director of Latin America, Central America, Mexico, and Brazil, and included were many of the wonderful leaders in Latin America.
Dr. Hill and Dr. Childers also were present for the inauguration of SEMISUD University’s new D.Min. program. The program is an ALEAL initiative in partnership with PTS, Latin America Leadership, World Missions, and the Division of Education. SEMISUD hosted the cohort for the training process. Francisco Jimenez is president of ALEAL. Also on hand were Assistant General Overseer Dr. J. David Stephens and Regional Superintendent Eduardo Drachenburg. Presently, there are 33 students in partnership with the Church of God Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.
