CONTINENTAL NEWS – Pathway Press and Resource Center announces a new program to strengthen their commitment to helping the local pastor and congregation reach and disciple this current generation.
Pathway is offering an increased amount of effective and relevant ministry resources through a new partnership with myhealthychurch.com.
“The health of the church is vital to the success of the kingdom,” stated Terrance Hart, general director of publications at Pathway. “The scripture mandate of Matthew 28:19, “go and make disciples” gives us the marching orders regarding what many call the Great Commission. While the message of this mandate is timeless, the methods are ever changing. We cannot continue to do things the way they were done in the glory days of the past and expect to make disciples of this millennia generation.”
According to David Ray, administrative assistant at Pathway, this partnership will serve to provide relevant and vital resources to utilize in the discipleship process. He said one of the exciting features of MY HEALTHY CHURCH is the quick assessment tool that is provided for each age level within the local church (children, youth, and adults).
“This quick assessment will allow you to see where you are currently being effective and where you may need additional tools to help in the discipleship process,” Ray stated. “Once that assessment has been made, this online catalog is filled with discipleship resources that will aid you in fulfilling the Great Commission mandate by producing well-rounded mature disciples of Christ.”
Discipleship resource categories include Ministry Discipleship Resources for children, youth and adults, and several Leadership Ministry Resources. Many resources are also available in Spanish.
