LeRoy Accepts Position with Second Billion Initiative

Dr. Douglas LeRoy, former general director of Church of God World Missions, has accepted a position with the Second Billion Initiative according to Director Dr. James O. Davis.

LeRoy, who currently serves as the co-chairman of the Unreached People Groups (UPG), will become the UPG Liaison for the Global Church Listening Forum. The group’s commitment is to finish the Great Commission. LeRoy will concentrate on creating a network of denominations and mission agencies worldwide who will commit to reaching specific Unreached People Groups. The network will share the commitments and the strategies. The GCLF will convene January 28-30, 2013, at the Foursquare International Headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. LeRoy, an ordained bishop of the Church of God, has been a minister for 50 years, with 30 of those years in World Missions.
