In ”Israeli Leaders Make the Iran Issue Their Own” (New York Times, 3/27/2012) we are again told about the Israeli fears; it is time to remind every one concerned that the Israelis are still occupying Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian lands disobeying so many Security Council resolutions. They have aggressed Lebanon and other Arab countries so many times pretending being in self-defense. They ask the US to do the same pretending being afraid of “being wiped out”. They have been using the Shoah as a way to blackmail every Western politician to obey their pretentions on all lands, oil, gas and waters they covet.
The Israelis have pushed the US to attack Iraq with the disastrous and murderous results we know; they haven’t yet finished with Syria and they want to attack Iran drawing again the US and the world in a new disaster.
Gideon Levi in Haaretz wrote when Netanyahu was going to visit Obama: “the cricket and the elephant are going to meet; we don’t know who the elephant is and who the cricket is… Israel is pulling too much on the rope and one day it is going to break.”
Already Obama has made a speech saying that an attack on Iran will be disastrous; this makes the time for the rope breaking very near.
It is time that the extremists in all countries, religions and confessions are stopped from creating hatreds and wars. I am thinking about the Wahhabis, the Saudis, Qatar, the American Christian Zionists and the Jewish extremists, among them those who elected Netanyahu and Barak in Israel.
What do they think will happen when the war is started with Iran by an attack on its nuclear? The least will be a phenomenal increase in energy prices already high. Russia will be strengthened and enriched; Europe will be at its knees and what about the US population? What will China do? What will happen when Iran, Syria and their allies respond on Israel’s attack by drowning it under missiles? Will we watch a new world war when allies of both will join the fight?
For what? A nuclear Iran is no danger to anybody. It will never dare to be the first to use its nuclear capabilities, if and when it gets them, because it will be turned to ashes.
