Dynamos coach Elvis Chiweshe has described as fair the Zimbabweans clubs’ Orange CAF Champions League Group A draw.
Chiweshe said he was relishing the challenge of facing 2009 Champions League winners TP as Dynamos being their fourth group stage outing in the event.
“It is fair draw,” Chiweshe told Cafonline on Friday about Group A that also includes mini-league debutants Entente Setif of Algeria and 1994 African club champions Esperance of Tunisia.
Chiweshe said Dynamos were proud to have qualified to the Champions League group stage where they will be making an unprecedented fourth appearance, achievement for a Zimbabwean club in the same competition.
“It shows we are amongst the best teams in Africa,” Chiweshe said.
“But I have no idea about these teams.”
Dynamos kick-off their Group D outing against TP Mazembe whom they will host in Harare on July 1.
